The profiler has a tremolo fx on board, but it's very hard if not impossible to get this kind of setting:
Is it actually possible to get a full range, sustainable sound of this fx?

I happen to also be trying to figure out if the Kemper can do something like that.
Hope so, but I haven't been able to figure out a way. I have an old POD Pro that was able to do it. The manual for that says that it was modeled after the "classic Fender tremolo", FWIW.
Kemper trem isn't very sophisticated and doesn't do square wave but if you set the depth at max and crossover at minimum, no one in the audience will point at you saying you don't have a real square wave.
Make the "squarest" sound you can get, and then copy/paste the setting to the next slot over. Then it becomes a bit more square. It's important to copy/paste - not manually reproducing the settings.

Interesting. Why is it necessary to copy paste? Is it simply because it is difficult/impossible to manually set the controls to exactly the same values?

Hi Musicmad, Excellent tip! I've put 2 the same tremolos after each other in the Stomps section, in the way you suggested. Sounds really much better with also many repeats. Thank you very much!
Isn't this called a "Slicer" effect?
So what you imply is that because the profiler is not able to achieve such an fx, you have to buy extra stomps to create them...?

That's the excuse I would use on my wife. Works every time.

Yes. There is resolution beyond what you can see on the dial (more decimals), so it's imposible to dial in the exact same number. And it has to be for this to work.

I thought that was what you were meaning. Makes sense
