Look for a used, well taken care of, pair of MSP5s, they are build like tanks and will last decades. I prefer them over the HS5s
I love Yamaha MSP5’s. Been using them since they were first released.

I use a pair of Yamaha HS5 monitors with the matching HS8S subwoofer. Run everything through my Behringer FLOW 8 mixer - I run my Kemper Stage, Captor X, and a vocal mic through the mixer. I also have it hooked up to the USB of my MacBook and it can act as an interface for recording.
Everything is then run through the main outs of the FLOW 8 to my subwoofer and then to the speakers.

I totally agree - after hearing Vinny's, I also bought a pair, and find them to be a great speaker for both mixing and general listening purposes!
I run a pair of Genelec 8010As for a setup where my space is limited.
I find their sound incredible for their size.
