I'm going crazy trying to set up my expression pedal for a basic wah wah effect. I know this is basic, but i'm still not getting it. My expression pedal is plugged into input 1 in the back of the profiler with a stereo cable. I have assigned the stomp to a Bad Horsie pedal. When I play my guitar thru the rig I can tell that the wah pedal is on because of the tone. However, stepping on the expression pedal has no effect on the sound. I'm sure this is simple, but can someone help me out here?

Have you made the necessary changes in system settings? You want to make expression 1 a wah pedal!

Somehow I stumbled upon that last night, thanks. The tone is still kind of weird though. I was messing with the settings. What do Peak, Pedal Range, Peak Range, and Ducking do ?

Those are the parameters to set a specific wah. The vanilla wah with the Kemper is horrible IMO. But there are presets downloadable with rig manager. I usually go for the Cry Baby which does exactly what I want.

Did you read Main Manual 8.5, chapter Wah Effects (Orange), page 163??

Actually, I don't have the Main Manual. My manual is only about 28 pages, so thanks for the tip... I will go see if i can download the full version.

main manual is under downloads o the Kemper site
Would be good to familiarize yourself, with it

What expression pedal are you using? I assume you meant a Bad Horsie preset and you are not using a Bad Horsie Wah pedal ( which clearly won't work).
