The way the Kemper should look like

I don't like green. I never liked it and I will never get used to it. This is the way the black version of the Kemper should have looked like:

Yes, I'm actually thinking about repainting the green enclosing and covering the green parts with black car foil. When I repaint the green part I will also blacken the white whole (don't know why this is dark/green in the silver version and silver in the black version, looks odd to me).

I just repainted the back of my Tech21 Power Engine (the aluminum amp part on the back), removed the Tech21 logo and added a Marshall logo to the front, looks a lot better now. I also replaced the Celestion Speaker to a more linear one (Beyma 12GA50). Should work for me. I didn't liked to use the power amp of my JVM 410 through a 2x12" Vintage 30 cap.

I like your first version a lot!

I agree the "black" KPA was a little weird with all the green, but I can appreciate that they wanted to maintain a distinctive look. It's not for me though. I generally buy everything - cars, clothes, guitars - in black, but as far as the two versions of the KPA are concerned, I think the white one is a lot truer to form, e.g. the old 50's engineering vibe.

I would still love it, even if it was neon pink! As a Metal player, maybe it doesn't have the ferocious look I wish it did, but the tones are indisputable!

I'm now customizing my Kemper, at least I start getting rid of some green

I'm not really sure how to get rid of the green on the front panel... simple painting will not work with all the LEDs etc. so close around.

I told my wife about this thread. She thinks the Kemper colors are awesome. I customize alot of my guitars and even amps and I can't bring myself to touch the lunchbox with a paint brush or spraycan. The Kemper is kind of an oddity in appearance. The only cool idea I have come up with so far, is using actual treadplate to give it a recto appearance. I think, I'm just going to leave it be. I'm going to customize the rest of my rig in Kemper colors instead!
