The new Kemper Fuzz is great and I use it a lot. But its always a little too loud when switching it on. I tried to adjust the level with the Kemper Fuzz "Volume" knob but it seems to only add gain. The volume settings below zero have no effect. Any ideas? Thanks
Kemper Fuzz Volume not adjustable below zero?

Works well here!
What is your amp gain?

Sorry for the delay. Too much work.
I did some tests today and it turns out that the compressor after the fuzz is the problem. Without a compressor after the fuzz the fuzz volume settings perform as expected. With a compressor after the fuzz the fuzz volume settings below zero have no audible effect. I added my Rig as a attachment.

But even if that's the nature of a compressor to amplify low level signals it should have some audible effect. Right?

not necessarily. It depends on the compressor settings. Remember that the output from the Fuzz is heavily compressed already so the signal may be above the compressor threshold even with the Fuzz volume below 0.
