Limiting the posibilities as a hardware unit by software feels like a marketing strategy it is just my opinion! If others feel well with buying this option thats fine.
I dont i get frustrated by owning something relying on software and paying for opening the doors......maybe im old fashioned
I pay for hardware but do not get the software thats what im saying unless i pay extra money for it
But after all i'm happy with the player as it is, no need for extra's
Thats not a new concept or greedy at all. If you buy a PC you get the hardware and then you have to buy some software to make it usable. Everybody accepts that. Why not with the Kemper Player?

Same. I would love to have the Kemper Fuzz and the fancy reverb stuff on the Kemper Player. I would pay for an update. !!!!

After some more testing ist seems as if the Rigmanager populates the Amplifier -> Amp Model dropdown-box by scanning the presets (or something else?) and depending on when i open the dropdown-box its content is different. Maybe thats part of the confusion.

Ok. Thanks for the reply. I read the reference manual once again. So what you are saying is that the Amplifier -> Amp Model -> Kemper Generic is actually a Tone Stack Model and not a Amp profile. Right? Are these 21 Tone Stack Models a fixed selection created by Kemper and if so where do the User created Tone Stack Models show up? Are they part of a liquid profile? Don't get me wrong i like the Kemper and its sound but the liquid profile concept is a little bit confusing.

Hi. I am playing around with my new Kemper player and i can't figure out what exactly a Kemper Generic Amp is. So many presets use it and still they sound vastly different. And the Amp selection list seems to shows a dynamic list of amp models. Why does this list change and where do these amp models come from? Cheers.

My Kemper Player arrived today. 3 weeks after ordering. Nice.

Got my delivery information for my Kemper Player today. Earlier than expected.

Just got a message today from Kemper via UPS that my Kemper Player will arrive tomorrow morning. Yeah. Earlier than expected. Can't wait to add it to my setup. Thanks Kemper.

It's 21 days. I ordered mine on 05.02.24 so i hope to get it at the 26. of this month. Fingers crossed.

I expectantly read through my email every morning to hopefully find a message from Kemper's shipping department. Nothing so far. I just should have ordered my Kemper player earlier. Maybe next week. Yeah.
-
Ok. Thanks. Does it sound as good as on the Kemper Profiler?

Does the new Kemper Player come with rmpaceco's original Morgan AC20 Rig or is it possible to load the AC20 Rig into the Kemper Player? Thx.

Works well here!
What is your amp gain?
Sorry for the delay. Too much work.
I did some tests today and it turns out that the compressor after the fuzz is the problem. Without a compressor after the fuzz the fuzz volume settings perform as expected. With a compressor after the fuzz the fuzz volume settings below zero have no audible effect. I added my Rig as a attachment.

But even if that's the nature of a compressor to amplify low level signals it should have some audible effect. Right?

The new Kemper Fuzz is great and I use it a lot. But its always a little too loud when switching it on. I tried to adjust the level with the Kemper Fuzz "Volume" knob but it seems to only add gain. The volume settings below zero have no effect. Any ideas? Thanks

I am a little late to this discussion but i really like the update. Very stable and the new fuzz fx sound great. Especially the ImpedancsLP and Octa parameters are fantastic. I can get a lot of splatty fuzz variations with just these two controls. Thanks a lot.

Using Rig Manager 3.0 with macOS 10.15.1 Catalina on MacBook Pro. Works perfect.

This editor adds so much more value to the Kemper. It's unbelievable. All the little tweaks and somewhere hidden features are now accessible and suddenly make sense. It feels and sound like a totally new device. I didn't know that my Kemper can sound that good. I'm a happy Kemper user.
-
Oh yes. Thanks a lot. This is so much more fun to work with. Its really easy now to tweak and save a sound. Love it.

After one year of fiddling around with lots of profiles it came down to one that i use all the time. The Morgan AC20. It's now the only profile left in my Kemper. Makes life a lot easier. Thanks rmpacheco.
