+1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
please, give us at least an answer if it can be done / is planned in a future software release... THANK YOU !!!

This would be really great if possible at all. I just got my Kemper yesterday and run into fixed SPDIF SP right away

+1!!!!!!!!!!

Please don't forget to vote for the S/PDIF slave & 48kHz feature request in the following poll if you haven't done already:
Which features would you like to be added next? -
If I haven't, I should have. The Kemper has to have a variable clock and the ability to slave to the DAW master clock.

Just a quick bump to this "outdated" thread... We still need this!

STILL NEED AND STILL NEED AND STILL NEED AND STILL NEED AND STILL NEED…..

Hi,
Just wanted to bump this as I've just started using SPDIF to record digitally. It just seems like a hassle to change the master/slave relationship whenever I use the Kemper.
Also, a question (and a noob one at that probably) -- is the requirement to slave the audio interface to the Kemper *always* a requirement when recording? Or is it only when using reamping features?
Thanks in advance for any responses

Its always a requirement when using lots of digital devices so the they all sync the same (the 1's and 0's )

+1 for this. I've really started using the Kemper (in the studio) once again, and I now find this to be a non-trivial process. Especially since my setup has grown to accommodate more stuff over the past year.
BTW, 2.4.2 sounds awesome, and was quite pleasantly surprised with all the goodies in there now. Slave clocking is definitely a necessity at this point, even my lowly GT-8 does this, was quite surprised that the Kemper still does not.

I am afraid that your GT-8 does not provide slave clocking. It simply lacks the required spdif input or wordclock input to receive an external master signal.
Did I overlook something? -

Did I overlook something?Hi, mr. K.. Please answer...
How would one connect two KPAs to the same system using SPDIF?
