Looks to be well thought out. Thanks for not including expression pedals as integral to the unit but as plug in add ons!

Thanks CK for sharing this with us
Just a small detail to improve usability (IMHO). I prefer to have the bank button on the le left side as I use ME expresssion pedals with my right foot and therefore with bank button on the left, presset or effect switches are closer to the pedals. -
Looks excellent to me and very thought through.
The top row of switches is hopefully elevated a bit from the lower one? -
I like it (and i like the 4 expression pedals ins... that means that something big is cooking in the CK 's kitchen ).
Anyway i think that i midi in/out, to be able to use it without the Profiler or with other stuff (think to Eventide pedals) without long cables all around, would be a winning choice.
I don't like the bank up and down on the righ side, but probably it's a my problem because i'm left footed (yes, i'm not left handed!). -
1. I will not combine Tap and Tuner, since a number of people will want to use the Tuner button as a mute button as well, for changing the guitar etc. This should not be in a position where you accidently press it. The Tap on the other hand should be as accessible as possible.
Hi Christoph,
I would recommend you to combine Tap & Tempo nevertheless. Just implement a 3 second press to activate the tuner. Only few people will accidentally step on the switch for that long, but I guess a majority will prefer to use that free switch for another functionality. Just my 2 cents. As you might have seen, I just finished the first prototype of my own little KPA footswitch:

Everybody: swap the 4 effects buttons and the two bank buttons? -
Yes, it makes sense for me.
-
guys, why make it bulky, if it doesn't need to be? button spacing would be the same...

please CK, maybe it can be two different sizes for different folks?
-
Your layout would be too crowded for me, I'm a bigfoot
-
+1 for Kilihahn's layout
also, will this be powered through the RJ45 jack or will it need an additional adapter?
-
Personally, I like the original layout (page 1) best so far. But that's just me...
-
+1 for original Layout!

Actuall, the Tap button is better placed in CK´s draft. But i would rather prefer the display placed as shown in Killhan drawing, since i tend to read from left to right
I know, it´s just a draft, but the letters should be way bigger in the LED display...
Bye, Sascha

I like this a lot. You could make it a bit bigger in the overall, to have some additional spacing between the buttons. That way even "bigfoots" like me would be pleased.
+1 killhahns design
-1 swapping bank/fx buttons
-
I like CK's original design. Bank up/Down to the left or to the right doesn't matter to me.
-
I am sure that I am in the minority but I would really like one of these with at least one expression pedal built in.
-
This might be a valid point.

Not for me. Would like to have them at the right side. Usually standing on my left foot while switching with the right, everything left and further up is harder to reach for me. CK: Have you ever thought about implementing control wheels (something like the e.w.s. subtle volume control)? Love them for little volumechanges. -
