Saw a couple old threads but.... anyone get close on the Kemper?
Fractal has a synth block which makes it pretty easy.
I had a nice one on my AX8, using a synth block .....and adding a nice reverb .

Do you mean the actual sound of a violin or loooong tones ?
For long tones try a E- Bow™ or a Fernandes guitar with sustainer.
Or get a real bow and play like Jimmy Page ......
Or even better, get a real violin ( electric ) and "fly away" upon the
wings of music, like Jean luc Ponty ....
Imagine what he could sound like trough a Kemper
And why not Eddie Jobson or Jerry Goodman

Apart from sustain I think you need some kind of auto swell too. There must be a Kemper delay type which provides this feature, can't remember the name atm.
