If as rig management you mean direct rigs transfer from the PC/Mac to the KPA, without rebooting, i'd choose this one 1000 times.
3 Things you would like Kemper to develop (and release) in the next month
-
-
Rig management here, I don't see a reason to edit on the PC...IMHO
-
-
I too would like to see a rig management software for naming etc. rigs on PC/Mac. Editing rig parameters (EQ etc.) is quite convenient on the KPA itself - IMHO.
And I would also welcome improvements on rig management/browsing on KPA itself.
A concrete example of that is the suggestion linked below:
kemper-amps.com/forum/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=3773 -
1.Internal separation preamp-power amp, in the amp block (if it's possible)
2.Looper
3.Harmonist
and of course editor-librarian -
Editor or Rig Management?
Rig Management definitely!!!!Editor is not needed IMHO as editing on the KPA is already super comfortable...
-
You have an "E" that appears on the right side of the screen when you change something
I proposed on another thread that I would like to see a Warning message if I have edited a Rig and tried to swith to another rig "Rig has been edited - Save?" or similar message.

I want to add that The "E" that appears when you edit a rig is not disappearing once you save the modified rig, but it should.
-
If you change rig and come back is not there anymore, but you're right: it should disappear after saving.

1). Preform mode. It kinda stinks to buy a unit without an advertised feature. Kinda like buying a car without wheels.
2). Foot controller. If your not going to come out with a foot controller let me know. I own a small engineering/manufacturing company and are capable of designing and building a unit. A midi foot controller is not that complicated.
3). Pedal modeling (effects also). Definitely more pedal and effect models. It would great to model your own but at least give us more.
Definitly faster boot up.

Editor or Rig Management?
I would choose both. Rig management could be part of the editor
-
It's been mentioned a million times already but for the sake of democracy:
1. foot controller
preferably without need for additional power supply
two way communication
with connectors for at least two expression pedals
I like big controllers, with buttons you can easily hit on a dark stage, rather than a small form factor that fits in a bag
2. perform mode
3. library -
Editor or Rig Management?
Rig Management, of course
Editing is super comfortable right on the KPA itself.

Editor or Rig Management?
I may be the only one here. - But can we have Both (hides)
Rig management is defo needed as profiling 10 amps in a day is quicker than frikkin typing scrollyletters into the kpa! arrgyh!
however.. I find the kemper fiddly at times, and as im in fron of the PC when i record.. to be able to duplicte what I do on the KPA but in software form would be a massive saver for recording sessions. - But i'd rather have the management first -

3. libraryOh and almost forgot, kind of important for me, probably not for most people: it would be super if the FC can control multiple MIDI devices (at least 1 in addition to the KPA itself).
I'm using a G-system now to control both the KPA and my trusted Gibson Echoplex. It would be great if I can continue to operate both devices with one controller... -

Kemper midi out/thru >>> Other device midi in.

Kemper midi out/thru >>> Other device midi in.
ah ok, that's what I do now but didn't know if it would be possible with the KPA, thx

IMHO Foot controller isn't a priority..there are already a lot of those on the market..Improving the KPA should be the priority

None of them supports 2 way communication or to get the current from the KPA. For a lot of people is a priority. Respect your view, though.
