Wait 'til you receive a return email from Support, Mike; you'll then be able to attach the backup in your reply.

As always thx Nicky! Not sure what happened, but I recall stating “ does anyone know how to attach a back-up to a support ticket” with the note above as a subject only?. As you know i’m A newbie still learning my way around things, so can you tell me if I have created a ticket and need to wait on an email or still need to create a ticket? Vr, Mike

No worries, Mike.
If you create a ticket here...
... you'll receive an automated confirmation email shortly thereafter letting you know that a response will be forthcoming (don't reply to it). Wait for the response, then attach the backup, assuming the guys at Support need it, to your reply to it.
