I was watching a YouTube video now (/watch?v=-y7AnWhPWyo) and noticed that the speaker says that a TRS stereo cable should be used to connect the pedal to the unit. Any knowledge on why the expression cable must be stereo?
Many thanks!

Sorry, I thought I had replied to this a few days ago but for some reason it didn't seem to post.
The short answer is, "they just do. its the way nearly all expression pedals work".
The longer answer is that the expression pedal uses a control voltage which is fed to the pedal on one side of the cable and back from the pedal on the other.
This article from Strymon explains it much better than I ever could though
Yeah! After looking to my Roland expression pedal, I realized that it's a pedal thing and not a Kemper requirement. I appreciate your answer and the link you posted. Many thanks!!

Works good with the kpa. I use one of these and two mission pedals. This pedal is the bang for the buck. Comes with a trs to connect it to the remote.
I use one Roland EV-5 and my Mission EP1-KP will arrive tomorrow. I have the kemper remote so I will plug both of them on the remote. One on the left side and another one on the right side. I also bought this small TRS cable to have everything elegantly plugged with the minimum cable length possible: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00…0?ie=UTF8&psc=1
