Hey All, anybody know what the specific parameters are used in the "Space" effect? I'd like to add a similar effect to my IEM mix using our mixing console's onboard effects without sending it to FOH. I'm having a harshness issue. Thank you for any insight. Thank you.

Short delay with some feedback should do it. If necessary add some damping.

Not sure if Space is able to avoid harshness. What about some EQ'ing?

Ii might be completely wrong, but in my opinion space sounds a bit like a small reverb with ducking.

It's more like a very short delay, I think. Not sure about the ducking.

It's a reverb with only the early reflections

Ah ok. But who's right, Per or you?

We both could be it may be that the desired effect can be achieved using a short delay with some feedback as Per suggests

It works brilliantly using the headphone out of the KPA, IMO; so I would think the same type effect coming from the console return to my IEM's would as well.

I'm wondering if it's just for your IEM's why not take their signal from the headphone out of the Kemper? All the outputs are running at all times on the Kemper even if you're not using them.
Alternatively you could just set the space parameter as an output everywhere, provided you don't have it on "toilet" mode levels it shouldn't cause too much horrible smear FOH, it'll just sound a little more like the amp is mic'd up backstage.
