Hey dudes, I was wondering if anyone has done any "investigation" on how accurate the built in tuner is. Is it like your average cheap pedal tuner or something, or is it closer to a Peterson?

I've checked mine against my peterson and they read the same.
I have read lately, that there might be a problem with the current firmware's accuracy.

Same here-it tracks consistently with my Peterson as well. -
The Strobo Tuner percentage inaccuracy was fixed in the last beta.

It was listed in the fixes, but still the same issue. It is NOT fixed yet! Hope they get it right next time.

Oh... I don't remember reading anything official stating otherwise, must of missed that!

Not official... but still the same issue (some kind of rounding error?). Maybe @Burkhard can validate?

That's interesting. I didn't know there was a strobo inaccuracy. I've always used Boss TU3 or Korg Rack Mount style tuner displays. I read that strobes are more accurate so tried using the strobe in the KPA but it always ended up out of tune. When I re tuned with the bubble tuner everything was fine. I just assumed I was too stupid to use a strobe properly. I feel much better now
