Would you be interested in buying Single Profiles?
Should i do something like that?
Each one would get a short raw Demo with different Guitars/Pickups.
Off course all of them would be new made and merged...
I think many don´t want massive options and just one that really kills.
What do you think?
Would you be interested in buying Single Profiles?

Yes, I'm not really into buying profiles for a while, though; I've got a good bunch of them already and not even using the 15% of them...
A few months ago I purchased one pack from a renowned seller and I was like... meh, I mean, there was about 2-3 profiles I really liked out of about 100...
But I seem to have a different opinion than most of the commercial profiles consumers.
So, as a general statement I'd say I prefer more affordable single profiles or mini-packs (between 2 and 4 profiles of the amp) rather than huge packs which seem a bit like a waste of money to me.
-
You can´t make everyone happy...the guy who profiles may will may have a different taste in tone you.
All i can provide is something thats very good to my ears and sounds very well with my Guitars (at least in my opinion)
Some will share my taste..some will not
But at least a raw Demo with different guitars/Pickups should help to get an idea of whats to expect -
I wouldn't. Usually, even with my preferred profilers, in a pack I find several profiles that work for me and many which don't. Also, some guitars work better with different profiles, and some profiles work better with different frfr solutions.
-
Yes. And No.
Yes because...most profile packs have dozens and dozens of profiles, and I'll typically only like 1 or 2. I've seen it over and over again here in the forums where a profile creator posts 4-5 samples and everyone gravitates to the exact same profile as the standout. I'd rather buy a variety pack with just those best 2-3 profiles of each amp, than a pack with 180 profiles of the same amp.
No because... well, I couldn't think of a reason for "no."
-
No.
I like to explore the whole amp (in a pack) and then pick the one rig, that works best for me in a specific environment ... and another one that is better suited for a different situation. Then 2 rigs for double tracking ...And then I want to know how that amp / cab combination sounds clean / break up ...
I don't want to buy only 1 profile. To choose from a pack (and slightly adjust "my" rig) gives me a more individual feeling
-
I suppose a SINGLE profile is a gamble, but I certainly don't need to sort between 80 profiles and mic combinations. Gimme, like, 3-5.
-
Keep in mind..Full packs will not vanish from our shop im just thinking about to add two categories to our shop "Amp packs" and "Single Profiles"
Especially because im into doing new (better?) stuff with Amps/Cabs i allready profiled maybe 2 years ago because - you know - we all improve with the time and it does not make sense to me
to release a Pack 2 for some of those amps....also because sometimes its just 1 Profile i did much later where i thought "YES"The 2nd option would be to offer mixed Packs with such profiles but than again you maybe just want this single profile..or those two..and not the 50 others
-
For me personally buying a single is indeed a gamble. I have bought singles in the past (or packs containing a couple of singles) only to be disappointed for any number of reasons. Didn't gel with my guitars, unable to get the EQ to sound right, etc.
Lately I've only been buying packs from vendors that have worked well for me in the past so I can predict a higher success rate. Actually have several of your packs that have profiles that I like, but still... -

A lot of the other big name profilers make free updates to their packs, over time. Some others charge for updated packs. In the end, if you think that selling single profiles or mini packs is the best return on your hard work, then that is your right. I'm just happy to hear that you'll also be doing full packs, too.
-
Its not possible for me for me to update the old packs..i would have to check every single order at the Big cartell shop for the customer by hand. That would take months
Im just curious in what people are interested..Don´t expect many new packs from me in the future most amps are done and some i simply can´t afford or can get my hands on.
No Single profiles - thats fine to me

I liked what you did with the Mesa Oversized pack, too (think you did it with Bogner, as well), where you released a pack of several amps with a new cab you got. I'm not sure how well doing that sold, but I bought that one and will most likely grab the Bogner one now that I remembered it).
-
^ Yep. Came here to say that. Or even just one or a couple amps with a new merged cab, doesn't have to be several.
-
No. Too much of a gamble IMHO.
Guido's pack sizes are good examples of what I feel the minimum should be. At least if you have a dozen Rigs in a pack covering the basic settings / channels of an amp, you're likely to find something that works for you.
-
I thought people would be excited for a new really good expensive cab like the Bogner...but the Bogner Rock pack sold really bad.
Thats why i lost a bit motivation in doing a Bogner Metal Pack. If people are still interested i think about itWhen it comes to full packs i don´t want to make future packs only 4-5 profiles when the older ones are much bigger.
When it comes to several unreleased single Profiles that i think should be released t i will think about Minipacks.
Maybe something like "the Lost Profiles Part 1" or something like that -
Damn, that's really too bad. I thought those were your best rock profiles yet. Well, if you do end up going the mini pack route, I hope there's a merged version of that rig exchange 6534+ with the Bogner cab
-
Thx..yes i think they are awesome..but many seem not to care
Be patient..i think a Bogner Metal Pack will still happen -
Re the low interest in the Bogner pack, I can only speak for myself, but I have more than 3,000 commercial profiles already and hundreds of amps. Just not enough time in the day. I've even bought packs that afterwards I never got around to installing. I've fed and gorged myself, and spending more is just money down the drain. In the end, it's about 10 profiles I use all the time. Now, which 10... The only way I could have done that is by wading through hundreds more.

Take some time out and check the Bognar pack guys , i guess because many dont post clips this is why its gone under the radar, i have not got my audio interface yet but when i do ill try and get some clips done. Lars/Franks Cabs are really in the top 5, if more did clips of the bognar it would defiantly help. My 2 cents. Yes Lars i would buy the singles if i could get an all in one single's pack
