The 4 new ones are very good also. The DIs are incredibly useful because they can be mated with any other cabs. Your studio profiles sound great with this new batch. If you do some more, any chance you could go for some low - mid gain profiles? Thanks so much for these profiles.

The second batch had some quality profiles in it. Some were too dark and fuzzy for my applications but I scrutinized 3 of the new ones and settled on the keeper: 42-3. That gives me 30-1, 32-1, and 42-3. I've gone through 1600-1700 profiles recently (include commercial profiles) and kept only 136, so keeping a few from you is high praise. The 2 dirty profiles I kept have great balance and don't suffer the static mutes that haunts so many high gain profiles. I'm blown away.
Fantastic work! And for free? Fucking hell! As good or better than most commercial stuff I've tried.

I am planning to do profiles from examples in the manual
Maybe only one studio and one di from each one.
Just give me some time and I will fix this -

Nice to hear you like some of them.
I am just happy to contribute with something to this great community -
Great profiles. What I don't like is a "raspy" quality I feel with some. But I don't think that is your fault per se -- just the way the kemper sounds. I profiled the amp myself and that's what I felt. Cheerios!
-
And yes these seem better than many commercial profiles, for sho.
-
wow how did i miss these?,they are great sounding many thx!
-
Looking forward to giving these a whirl. THANKS!

Hey Bjorn, I guess your profiles have been post eq'Ed in your mixer, right ?

Hi Gerald,
I eq'ed signal from microphones before I send the signal back to Kemper in the profiling process.
Don´t remember exactly but low cut round 80-100 Hz and Hi cut round 7-12 kHz and some cut round 2-3 K with high Q-value, (listen for unpleasant freq I cut away in that area). -

I would be very curious to get something without external eq, a raw profile

Oh great,
I would be very curious to get something without external eq, a raw profileI still have the two sm57 unmoved from the speaker so I can make a raw profile from them if you like

Hi again,
Here are some profiles without EQ on microphones.
I made four different profiles, one di and three studio with 2xSM57 Fredman, 1xSM57 On Axis, (from Fredman)
and 1xSM57 Off Axis, (from Fredman), so you can compareThis time I don´t put them on RigExchange at this moment, only a zip file in download link below.
If you think some of them are good just let me know which one you like so I can share on RigExchangeLink:

Dear net99,
I also like to say THANK YOU for your fantastic profiles.
Your Dual Rectifire profile is my absolute favourite of all commercial, free and rig exchange profiles.
It has that tone and less "noise" with moderate gain, which I prefer.
I use it for rythm, solo and the next recording -
Thank you for being so-accommodating-and-generous, Björn!
Awesome effort, mate.

Thanks for sharing!
