New reamp vs older reamp sound different, more harshness.

Anyone else found that their Kemper sounds different theses past few months? I wasn't sure until this week, when I reamped a DI track that i previously reamped a few months ago. Using the same profile (a Micheal Wagner one) tough they sounded similar, they differ in the 3K to 5K range. A bit more harsh. I did test this a second time with another profile and the reseult were the same.

I'm not sure if it's an OS update thing or the cab lock transfer bug i've heard about. (How would i go and fix that?) Anything else i should check? My gain staging is not the problem here, same spdif input and output level.

Any help would be appreciated!

I'd suggest to double check with older FW first.

Alright i'll try that! Is downgrading the OS the same process as upgrading it?

Does that include how the fader in the DAW was set? Some DAWs also add a separate output fader for alternative outs, might check that too.

Otherwise, be sure to set the "reamp sens" in the input section to the exact OPPOSITE of the clean sens used in the original DI recording (i.e. if clean ses was at 6, you'd set it to -6 (i.e. negative 6). This has to be the same for both the "old" and the "new" reamping.

Some KAOS updates may set some parameters differently: Pure Cab, Noise Gate etc. Check that too!
