HELP!!!

I do not own your gear, but my first guess would be wrong gain staging! The Kemper FX Loop will not distort as such or always.
In other words: the output volume of the stomps shall not be too loud for the next stomp in the chain (or the Kemper). Try this: compare the volume when the stomp is OFF to the volume when the stomp is ON. Those should be equal - as a first guess. (The exception is a boost stomp, of course, which shall drive the amp higher than normal to achieve more gain.)
Maybe its also worth to have a look at your input senses. Are those in a +dB setting?

I had an issue similar to this and it was the tc flashback pedal itself. There is a way to reset it back to factory. If you dload allot of toneprints sometimes it gets messed up and not only the tone print has high gain but the other settings too. If you dload the default tc toneprint to the pedal and turn it off and back on it should reset it.

Good to know. Never used the loop with my Flashback.

What answers are you expecting? Are you planning to buy a Flashback?
I tried different Strymon pedals in the loop and did not have any distortion at all. -
Yes. I am planning to buy a Flashback. I'm afraid that it will distort the signal as my Boss DD3.

up
no caps lock, please.
and no bumping. -
In my experience the flashback X4 and Alter Ego X4 have no issues at all. Never used the small version though.
-
Good to know, since I have the flashback X4.
-
I have a Flashback X4 and used it with my new Kemper a couple of days ago, works fine for me.

+1 for TC!
