Hi Folks,
bought a used guitar, that sounds crazy good.
Who can tell me what I´ve purchased? I know it´s a Tele Thinline Copy and Neckplate says: "Made in West Germany", but other than that....appreciate your help and hints!

This *might be* 1975-76 Hofner Thinline Telecaster.
There is just ashtray missing on your guitar, where company logo was carved.

Great find!
Dziękuję bardzo, skoczy!
Are you sure? My tuners are open, the bridge seems to be different and the pickguard form is different, too...
Greetings
Bitte sehr
Yeah the bridge seems to be different, pickguard not so much. F-hole and headstock like identical.
I'm not sure, but I think there are holes in the wood in your guitar, which might have been drilled for original bridge. Then it would explain little distance between current bridge and pickguard in the bridge area. Maybe contact Hofner and send them your picture, I'm sure they can help.

I was looking in the ES-335 or Epi Casino area and it was suggested I give the new Guild Starfire's a chance. They make lefties, but I grabbed a Righty Starfire IV and had it turned (easier to turn back and flip if I don't keep it long)
I must say, it surprised me in every way. Short of my LP it's ballz-to-the-walls hot pickups. Fit & Finish is top notch. Just wasn't on my radar, but the new company is remaking these late 60's gems with attention to quality and the sound is exactly what you'd expect from a semi-hollowbody.
Here is my guess:
a Klira SM17. It has the kind of headstock logo that could have fallen off, open tuners, and has a bridge cover that looks like it could fit over that distinctive bridge.

Thank you Paults and skoczy, I think the puzzle is solved. Klira SM17 seems to be the one! Never heard of Klira before...

If the foto in the avator is not too old - no wonder
My sons first by proper word (besides Mama, Papa, Happa Happa,...) is "Gitarre". Yes Baby!
Did I mention, that I actually bought 2 used guitars? The second one is a dark cherry 1977 Aria ET240. A copy of a Gibson Les Paul Junior Special Doublecut. Old style wrap around bridge with intonation curve for a wound g-string. My first P90 mahagony guitar. What a great sounding combination!
Well done!
