Setting for Volume pedal has to make new!

Hi Harry, are you shure? Just changed the fw and every thing works, also the vol ped. Just checked out the morphed rigs. I setted my moog ep3 from pitch pedal to morph pedal. Its like plug and play. Works very well but at this time there is no morphed sound in the examples that i like. Think it takes some time with experiments. First is i'll try to change the amps in those morphed rigs to my fav amps. Maybe it's better for my ears
I havent read the complete addendum yet, but i have a simple question (i hope). Where are my old delays? I read that they put them togehter and it's the legacy when i turn the type knob. But its only the legacy there. Cant also find the volume parameter in the legacy delay (normaly placed on the last page of the delay).
Where can i change from tap delay to my old ms delay?

Volume setting was reseted to a default value . "Pre stomp" and "-5,0". It worked, but in another way I like.
My setting was "post stomp" and "0,3" .
I prefer to have the volume pedal as booster from a volume I would have if the Pedal is not connected.
Now we have 4 Modes "Pre/post stomp" (before stack) and "pre/post effects" (after Stomp). It is a nice improvement

Ah, i see. Didnt notice that because i use it like it is.

  • But when i change to the amp, normaly i found the amp volume on page 3/3 to give the amp more output. I see that nothing changed from page 1 to 3 in the amp section. So volume on page 3 means that this is the old cab volume? If it is, where is the old amp volume?

As far as I considered the new value in the amp section is the addition of former amp- and former Cab-value.

  • So far, so good!
I played the Kpa for over 4 hours yesterday after OS 4 upgrade and did not have any issue to report.

The only remark is that I noticed that system boot at startup of the unit takes longer than it did with older OS versions, but since everything works fine, I guess it is a minor issue.

Being a huge fan of delays and reverbs, I really dig the option of being able to employ multiple delay on the same rig, I have very good feelings on the many possibilities we will have with future OS 5 when new delays come!
I totally loved the reverb preset "outer space", very very nice!

I did not tweaked distortions yet as well as morphing.

I understand the possibilites behind this new feature, but it seems I miss information about how to setup morphing, where am I supposed to do it, and what am I supposed to morph...

Did Kemper issued an instruction for it?

  • i only morph via expression pedal, morphing by switch does not work (yet?) with the fcb1010 (stock, no eprom, no uno), but even if this was the issue (it is set to 2sec, both) it would be a little annoying if you do some morphing live and would have to wait like 2 sec until you can change your preset...

Have you checked the Rise Time and Fall Time parameters in the Rig Menu? These control how long it takes to morph and "unmorph" when using the switches.

It might indeed be a bug. If so, you should report it through the support email...

    I can not confirm that.
When morphing is started, you can switch directly to another rig. The morphing is stopped and the new rig start immediately
I tried this with a morphing time of 10 sec to see it clearly.

  • If i load the legacy delay in the delay slot, where can i find my old delay settings?

Frank , I am afraid that you have to downgrade to 3.3 again and note the parameter.
In 4.0 now we have only one delay.
Obviously presets you made and namedby your self are not updated in vers 4.0 :(

    Hope I am wrong .

Edit: I found a posting from "tntent" he has similar problem.
It would seem that the presets I made previously for different delays are now gone ! Only the delay presets I have saved along with a rig can be recalled but they are just called legacy and dont have the original name. I can save the module now and rename for recall but any special delay presets Ive created and named dont appear under browse.

After Downgrade, you could create rigs using those Presets and save them again after upgrade.

  • I, too, have lost all my previous delay presets. I did a backup before installing 4.0. Is there a way to recover just the delay preset from there?

    Brian

Normally I would say yes but these delays are supposed to be converted to the new legacy format in a manner to sound the same during install. And in my case, I believe those saved with a rig were, but they weren't in the browse pool or named accordingly. Perhaps you can open a support ticket for the benefit of both of us and any others like us whom will be coming along

Currently the "firmwares graph" starts to shape perfect "V", which announces incoming version V (5, five, funf, cinque). For perfect "V" Kemper team needs to launch next firmware on Tuesday and label it V!

  • Updated yesterday and did'nt notice any problems yet, I think its great!
Perhaps I don't understand the tuner problems mentioned here before, but my signal is perfectly muted when I use the new tuner.
Also no latency problems at all when switching to another profile in performance mode, its directly there without delay

  • It drives me nuts. Under fw 3.3 i had stored a few delay settings and named the settings. when i have set a delay i turned the browse knob and found them, load it and ready. After updating i cant find them.but i see them in my unzipped backup from 4.0
If i load the legacy delay in the delay slot, where can i find my old delay settings?

my presets from 3,3 are all there,
did you hit effects button and turned browse button ??

  • Is it possible to use uno4kpa and use morph with a separate exp pedal connected to kpa pedalconnection on the backside?
