Would love to know how you guys set the low/high cut Filter. In the global outputs or in the cab section. This is really important to me, cause soundwise it makes an audible difference

I need advice on the global LoPass HiPass filter. Normally, I set the LoPass to 80 Hz and the HiPass to 8.5 K when I play with clean and distorted sounds. Now I need to integrate an acoustic guitar into the setup where I need the HiPass set to 12.5 K. My question is: does the LoPass/HiPass in the Cab section have the same effect as in the global output settings?

Otherwise, I could save the different sounds with their individual Lo/HiPass settings per rig.

Please advise.

No need for an kpa2! Learn how to dial in a good Sound, and yes that takes time, but the Prozess is important for every New item/toy

2 xlr zum foh bzw zum inear Monitoring

1 Stromkabel.

Gitarre direkt über Funk, spart ein Kabel.

Hatte mit dem head zur remote öfter mal das Problem, das die remote während des gig abstürzt und neu hochgefahren ist. Sehr ärgerlich! Habs dann mit einem seperaten POE gelöst.

POE = Power over ethernet

Hab den stage und head, bevorzuge zuhause den head zum tweaken, live den stage. Weniger herum zuschleppen. Hatte mal ein Problem mit dem cat5 Kabel. Solche Probleme gibt's beim stage nicht, gitarre angeschlossen fertig. Dadurch kürzerer Umbau beim linecheck.

I always play over in ear monitoring, but I still wanted to test the fender fr 10 FRFR out of curiosity. Here are my thoughts on it:
Connected to the monitor out, it sounds a bit muffled without additional settings, then I turned on the Kemper Kone option with monitor stereo in FOH mode Sweetening 0 and lo and behold, sounds just like from my headphones (audio technica).
I then tested my Steelstring and the Nylon Acoustic over it. Works best without Kemper Kone option, i.e. in off mode. I've put a video on YouTube, if anyone is interested. You only ever see the FR10 with electric guitar.
I think the FR10 sounds really good with acoustic guitar.

What are your opinions, settings. I would be interested.

I'm on OS 12.0.6. and noticed an issue in performance mode.
If I change the next bank, then the first preset in the bank is automatically active. in the previous OS version the whole row of banks flashed and I could decide which preset from 1 to 5 I select. Unfortunately, that's no longer the case. please change it again

OS 12.0.6 fixed the problem, same sound and feel as usually.

Now i´m a little bit carefully with beta updates

After updating to OS 12.0.8 my Kemper head sounds and feels not the same anymore, compressed and the signal was weaker minimal but well audible, somehow sterile. I compared it to my KPA Stage OS 11.0.6: same setup, same cables, same guitar, same settings, same profile, same performance. As usual, the stage sounded powerful, dynamic. go back to OS 12.0.6 and if it doesn't change anything then to 11.0.6 very weird.

Which Option works better?

with the latest OS, i have now in my DAW the Input Option for digitale Audioschnittstelle (Kemper) and CoreAudio (Profiler) to choose, is there any differenz?

An update chorus Pack like the delay or reverb Pack would be cool.

are the distance of the footswitch between the remote and the stage larger? The Dimension of the stage is 5 cm bigger than the remote.

tried the fr12 today at my local store in direct comparison with the dxr12 Yamaha. My thougts. The fr12 sounds darker especially with piezo pickup Sound, but warmer with more room filling sound. Very cool, all knobs at 0, except the cut switch at 12. I realised it later, the turn it to 0, now i get the reported Bad white hiss/noise. So i wait for the next batch and order one. But the Differenzen between dxr and Fr is Not so hughe.

Hey guys thank you very much for responding. i was so shure that i´ll try out the fr12 tomorrow, and was so shure that the dxr10 is not the right monitor for me.

But today i tweak the dxr10 a little bit in the output sektion for monitor output and now it sounds so awesome that i don´t need the fr12.

My startpoint was to compare the headphonesound with the monitor with an piezo and then tweak the monitor output EQ to the same sound, and this works for the other sound clean, distorted etc. as well. Today I'm happy that I found the right settings for the same sound on my headphones.

Monitor output eq:

bass +1,6

middle +1,8

treble +3,8

presence +2,3

Space 3.0

without kemper kone but monitor stereo (i´ll use monitor out and direct out for stereo)

i need your help, tomorrow i have the Chance to try out the fr12, but which output settings you prefer with the monitor out Option.

Only the Monitor out flat or with kone Option, in frfr Mode, with extra Bass, with cab Mode.

I know a lot of questions, but i am very thankful for helping responds.
