Hi @flyingheelhook, all rigs are leveled. Levels are increasing from clean to distorted. Distorted levels are often to low in level relative to clean sounds..Try it in a song, you will notice that the levels are correct. All three packs are levelwise correct to eachother..
OK, after a night's sleep I have to admit I am a bit confused. While I think I understand what you are saying conceptually, doesn't this undermine the whole point of the Clean Sens setting in the Kemper? Maybe this is why I can never get that setting to work properly?

Well personally I don't use clean sens at all. It's on zero. If I see your avatar I see you're a Les Paul player. If your Les Paul has a lot of output maybe it's better to decrease input level a bit. Nevertheless a lot of guitarplayers are too loud on their cleans. Distorted sounds got a lot of midpunch so they seems to be very loud, clean sound haven't got that midpunch so are more difficult to hear in a song or a lot of noise..
I hope this makes any sense...English is not my native language so sometimes it's quite difficult to express myself in the way I would -
I think what you are saying that if I have a performance of five profiles of an amp, going from clean > heavy distortion, then I should slightly increase the volume of the rig as I increase the distortion so that the distorted profiles come through the mix? From practice, I think this makes sense, but then I get confused when I try to volume level across a performance before test-driving it live. I am going to try to set up a performance of one of your amps and try it out next chance I get and then maybe we can talk some more.

Niels strikes again. Thank you for sharing, Bert.
It's testament to your Profiles, IMHO, that the Tele exhibits zero harsh bite or twang during the soloing. It sounds like a damned record, and a good one at that!

Neils has lots of tasteful stuff in his Youtube channel. Single coils finger-style and very melodic.

Which acoustic profiles do you use?
-
Thanks @flitzefinger for posting your demo !! Cool man !!
It inspired me to record an acoustic demo too.
I used a Martin D41, anthem pick up and my BM AC German D profile for the rhythm track, BM AC Aurora 2 for the end section.
Lead was played on a Yamaha APX-10NA (piezo) using my BM AC TG2 spanish 2B profile.

Hey Bert,
sounds cool, too. I found the sound result for a 1000€ guitar pretty nice, although I played lead pretty harsh.
Did you ever try an electric with piezo through your profiles? Or in a live situation before you had the kemper? I used to have a MusicMan Luke II but the body and frets were confusingly small, when changing from Siggi Braun Signature.

Yeah, I have a Godin LGX. That's a piezo one. I checked all acoustic profiles with that guitar also.
Before I had the Kemper or let me put it like this, before I had my acoustic profiles I used my acoustic in a live situation straight into a DI. I also tried the Venue DI (LR Baggs) and the Fishman Aura. But now I'm really happy -
Ahh... a lil' bit o' BertClass™ goes a long way...
