Profiling with multiple pedals

I see plenty of profiles with one pedal in front but does anyone use multiples, eg. Tube Driver > Big Muff > Amp?

If so, how does it perform or are there too many variables to make it accurate?

Onlu talking about drives here, although you could include compressors, eq etc in the same camp.

there are too many variables to make a general statement either way.
just give it a try. I had good results with a OD boosted fuzz for example.
EQ should never be a problem.

I thought it would be ok but wanted to check before I spent a fortune on the pedals I have my eye on.

Some pedals translate very well to profiling. Others not so well. A tip. If you have a pedal that introduces transients or have let some of the clean sound through use the direct parameter in the amp section to dial just a little direct sound through. You can get very near the original transient feel that way.
