Anyone had this happen? I have the powered toaster and never any problems previously, been stuck for about 15 minutes now. Help!

Further to above; I've powered down (disconnected the power cord, no other way to do it as all controls are unresponsive including the Chicken Head knob) and when I switch back on it returns to the same screen??? Anyone?

Power down, put the kaos file in the root directory of the USB, then power up while holding the < > keys.
The profiler will then boot from USB. -
Hi, thanks for your reply: I just tried this and now the unit is totally unresponsive. I've tried all of the reset options and nothing is working.
I've just tried to re-install the Firmware by "booting and burning from USB drive" (powered up whilst holding < and>) . . .it gets to:
flashing firmware file
ERROR: writing to nand memoryand then no further?
-
This sounds weird. I'd suggest to open a support ticket.

do you actually *have* a power-amp?
be sure to actually have the latest firmware on the stick (and not an old version), and try again with 'booting and burning' (hold < and > during power-up) -
Yep it's the Powerhead and yes I've raised a ticket.
"flashing firmware file
ERROR: writing to nand memory" -
did you try again?

Power down, put the kaos file in the root directory of the USB, then power up while holding the < > keys.
The profiler will then boot from USB.This is exactly what you need to do

While deferring to the experts, I would suggest shutting it down completely, and unplugging (electric) for a while before trying again. With some computers, this helps make sure the RAM gets cleared - my guess is the Kemper has RAM and it can't hurt.

Good thinking.

Here's a dumb question: at what point can you release the <> keys? -

I do as soon as I see the first boot screen, your fingers tired yet?

lol when I upgraded to the beta I held it for about a minute and did the "I guess I can let them go now?!" -
Ha, I did second guess the "how long to hold < >" thing too! LOL
Waiting for support to get back to me today. . .
For info this is the screen shot.
