Hi there - I have read the reference manual as well as the quick start guide. I haven't found any information on whether you can adjust the playback level of the loop you have recorded. I can of course adjust the volume of the rig I use to play on top of the playback, but in some cases it might be more convenient to control the level of the playback. Any ideas?
Looper playback level adjustment?

Yes, I have requested to make the looper level pedal assignable a while ago. -
Yea, this is really glaring omission. Hopefully this feature will be added soon. The looper is borderline unusable for live performance with out a simple level control for the loop.
-
It is completely unusable live! That's the main reason I bought the remote was for looping, and there isn't a simple loop level setting anywhere. Kemper, please, please fix this asap. This control was to expensive for these oversights.
-
Bump. Did Kemper ever add a looper volume?
-
Not yet.
Since the looper can be activated via MIDI, the Remote might reveal to be redundant for your use? -

I agree and I don't think it is made for live performance. It's very useful for tweaking profiles - your hands are free.
It's very useful for quick testing of Profiles with the RM.
It's very useful if you fool around and suddenly you find a nice riff or chord progression and store it temporary. (Preferable with half velocity to have 1 min)For live performance it's not the right gear for me. Even not with a volume control.

They gave the looper its own button on the remote and flaunted the feature prior to the controller's release. Yet over a year later, there's still no looper mix in the menu. I write them and they tell me it's very doable, but not a priority. Not gonna lie, it kind of pisses me off.

I feel you, but OTOH you should buy something for what it has to offer today, not for what you hope to see implemented one day.
IME you run the risk of just being slapped in your face if you are not careful. Been there, done that.
Always check what the hardware\software you plan to buy\use offers the features you need.
Kemper don't owe us nothing. -

Kemper don't owe us nothing.Agreed. Kemper´s great for profiling &Co. But I think there are far better devices out there for looping... But there are precious few that´ll do individual levels...

Continous support for the looper level adjustment feature request is the most powerful thing the userbase can do.
It is an important feature to me as well. -
Well, Kemper offers looping today, as well as a year ago. It wasn't hopeful, it was advertised.

I was very surprised too to find out that there is no way to control the volume of the loop. I tried to solo over a loop and it's completely unusable as it is today. I add 6 dB for my solos live which is enough. The rhythm and solo sounds both stand out in the mix. The problem is combining both sounds... The rhythm sound is way too loud to solo over it in a loop. This is indeed an urgent and important request and should have the highest priority.

At the moment the only one hint could be to turn down the guitar volume while recording the rythm.
This could be a good appraoch to practise a solo chorus with a rythm chorus played before. -

People will wonder why the sound is suddenly quieter... And then louder again.

I do not use the looper live. (see above.). If I want di do this I would use another device.
Normally I play the rythm not so loud as the solo.
But anyway - A volume control for the looper would be nice. -

How do you make 8 db louder while playing and how did you configurate the looper Loc (pre or post) ? -
Changing slot with 8dB more.
looper is post mode. -
