They on 10!!!! Bloody hell I'm still on 7 lol
Updated to Win 10 to release 10049, which fixed some ILOK issues. Rig manager 3.1.10787 and Kemper with 3.02 works ok
Any issues with Pro Tools on Win 10?
None that I'm aware of.
Novation USB drivers (automap) has issues. Generic midi drivers work with Novation keyborads though,
10 is 9 LOL hahahaha. I know 10 is 9 but it's so funny
Couple of new relaeases out. 10122 works nicely with all of my stuff including Novation, Kemper, Eleven Rack, PT12 ....
Please stay away from the release 10130 if you use a HP or Lenovo laptops, Boot loop ....
There's a topic to behold, Microsoft and the never ending new software versions....... Windows 10, SQL Server 2016, etc. etc. Although I love the software, really hard for companies and individuals to keep forking out the cash to stay up with the latest gimmicks. IMHO.. Sorry for the interruption and thanks for the testing on Win 10!!

Regarding drivers, which is the most troublesome point, the situation is much better since Windows 7/8. Thanks to the new driver frameworks (WDF) from Microsoft, development is much easier now.

True, if your connected devices are still supported by their manufacturer with drivers for Win 7/8 ex. printers, scanners. There is a ton of legacy software out there that companies need to use that won't run on these new operating systems, therefore they are forced to stay with XP or even earlier operating systems. Alternative, pay someone to design new software for the required task......... Not in a lot of budgets.
Boot loop in installing 10130 can be prevented by disabling the wireless network adapter and disconnecting the ethernet cable before starting the actual update to 10130. Clumsy but works....
