Support will get in contact soon I reckon, a few people have had an issue where they have had to send them back. They got a replacement very quickly though
Try reinstall the FW... IIGIR, there's a routine taking care of the Remote as well, and the Remote FW could be (in the best scenario) just messed up.

Are you on Firmware 3.0?
Try installing the new fw3.0.1 beta as it's newer it will force a reinstall and hopefully will fix your problem.
I'm a friend of FlexGuitar, we tested the remote together.
Unfortunetly the new fw3.0.1 beta didn't change a thing.
The Display still shows "Error! This unit has no mac adress" right after the power test. When switching trough performances, the remote is also rebooting every 20sec or so.
Support seems to be busy, because we got a support ticket but up to now, they didn't manage to get back to us.
Bummer...
your unit seems to have a hardware issue, support will contact you to arrange a swap.

Well I'm preeetty, pretty sure it was like that from the start. Not a 100% sure but let's say 98% sure.
The remote behaves the same way on both our profilers, so I'm also guessing, that this particular unit has a hardware issue.
Certainly would sound like it, I hope you get it sorted quickly
