Sorry.
Don't have a Power Rack in front of me.
How do you turn the Cabs OFF on the Speaker Out (not Monitor Out) but leave Cabs ON on the Main Outputs?
Thanks

I told the customer, Master, page 3, tick Cabinet OFF box, that will switch off Cabs on Power Rack 'Speaker Out'.
He said I was wrong, but I was right...:)
Sorted, thanks.
Actually, the power amp is fed through the Monitor out. Anything affecting Monitor out will hence affect the Speaker out.
Anyone know if they are planning to fix this issue?? It seems like it would be a lot better if you could turn off cab sims for one while not affecting the other. I know some people will want them the same, but this setup doesn't work for everyone, especially those who want to run a guitar cabinet with sims off through speaker out and frfr speaker with sims on through monitor out. Anyone have a workaround for this problem?
Pretty sure things are not going to change from the HW POV.
You can feed your linear cab through one of the Main outs tho.
I have passive speakers so unfortunately i couldn't go through the mains.
Just to be sure: you use linear passive cabs?
Hey i'm in the same boat! I run the power rack version - Mains out to FOH. Monitor out to my In ear monitors ( cab sim on ), but i also run a 2x12 cab (or sometimes whatever cab is on stage if I don't bring mine) for some on stage sound. Would like to have the cab sims off for the 2x12 cab on stage!
Just do this.
mains to foh, monitor out to cab with cabs off and direct out ( or phones out ) to in ears
yea, linear passive cabs. i really don't want to buy a preamp...
What you'd actually need would be a poweramp, not a preamp. If you use a lunchbox (not a rack) you could retrofit your Profiler with around 3 bucks. No hassles, no external gear, no drain
If the speakers are linear you should not kill the cab profile tho.
Actually, you can have cabs to mains and no cab to Monitor out, or no cab at all.
This usually fits all the possible uses... is there anything specific you can't achieve?
sorry...i meant power amp... I really didn't want to buy one...
... and as for the other questions?
i wanted to use my passive 2x12 and my 4x12 cabinet.
passive 2x12 - cabs on
4x12 cabinet - cabs off
I could use the monitor out to my 4x12 and the mains to the 2x12 if my 2x12 wasn't it passive...
AFAIK, my options are buying a power amp, using just the 4x12 with no cabs, or the 2x12 with cabs...
Maybe instead, in the 3.0 release they are gonna come out with soon, there might be a solution with their "non cab" profiles merging with the "cab included" profiles being sent out through monitor, speaker, and main outs... ?
Well, the issue as I see it is not a lack of routing options, but empowering the passive cab. You can send a signal through the Main out with cab on, and a signal through Monitor out with cab off. But you'll need a power amp (either external or retrofit) for the passive cab.
Am I missing something?
no thats right. I really just can't shell out any more money for gear right now
So what is the to-be-fixed issue you talk about?
I cant seem to find the "MonitorCabOff" in my power head,, I have been through the output button menu,,
I am new to this, Prob. missing it,,,,,Thanks for any help in advance
Scroll through and pay attention, it's there...I had to call a buddy and he walked me right there and I was this....>
Power amp off is like the fourth window all by itself for headphone jamming. ☺
