it was the last gig, thursday 19th...... -
Looks like a poster in a guitar shop. Nice one

Great shots indeed!

Great!
One question: is your Kemper amplified by that Mesa rack amp we see in your pics?
If yes, are you happy with that solution? -
A few more shots of my rig.....here is my rack with the back off. Sealed off with vented panels and the lowest space is a 1U half depth cheapo Furman. The Furman is hardwired to the patch panel on the front so I plug the power cord into the front of the rack (so I don't have to reach around - I'm lazy).

Front shot of my rack with said patch panel. Now just need to plug in 4 cables and I'm good to go. About a 5 minute setup

I am actually......a guitar man is always happy when he/she gets the sound he/she deserves, right guys??

Great!

If yes, are you happy with that solution?you are right: in big live situation i use the kemper as pre amp and get the sound out of a mesa boogie 2:90 power amp (with two 2x12 V30 based speakers). it is true that the 2:90 does colour the sound, but as per my needs it colours the sound I have adding that something to it that is so nice. I use andy's plexi, so when I crank the mesa boogie 290 I have this great warm valve tone!
couldn't be happier with it...but this is my call. that colouring might not be wanted by guitarist that like to keep the profiled amp taste, especially those that are more crunch/clean oriented.
as always, here's the personal taste that is the king...and what takes for everyone to achieve his/her killer tone, that is the right way, no matter what the other are using. -

This is inspiring! Is that a shallow or normal rack case? And do things not get too heated (with the vened back panels 'sealing' off the unit?)
what is 'LF+' and those are strange looking AC outlets/inlet!
-
Those are probably powercon cables. That patch bay is very well thought out! Gives me some ideas for sure!
-
I'll be lying if I said that many of these pics don't give me a touch of jealousy inside. I need my Kemper soon.
-
Normal SKB rack case.
I have never had an overheating issue with the vented back panels - including outdoor gigs in 100 degree weather.
The LF+ midi jack is for my Liquid Foot+ (LF+) midi controllers - http://www.famcmusic.com/store/liquid-foot - I have the 12+ as my main board (with 2 mission engineering pedals for expression) and the junior+ as a satellite board - this midi port provides power and 2 way midi communication to both controllers
The AC outlets/inlet are powercon adapters. One inlet which is hardwired to my Furman - everything inside the rack is then plugged into the Furman, the 2 outlets are for my two CLR neo wedges.
Very happy with this rig

@PBGas - you are correct sir - powercon adapters. Both in and out. The "in" is hardwired to the Furman which then powers everything in the rack. I can plug my 2 CLR neos into the "outs" if needed.
And thank you for the compliment - I did spend some time thinking about what I wanted and it has worked out great.
-
Cleared things out for tomorrow. Plan to make a bunch of direct recording profiles of pedal/amp combos to be used with my live rig (left amp/cab) and also to send to DAW and add WOS III for speaker emulation.
Loving the new 3.0!
