What would you say the axe does best? ...what separates it for the Kemper in your opinion?
and do you think a KPA2 is on the way/in the works...?!
I will post pics later of my Guitar room & Amp Room.
The 11R goes way back with me.. never turn it on these days. too sentimental to get rid of it I guess! (She was my first digital device)
But in the far rack there is a AxeFX II aswell that never sees the daylight much either.. but I do a lot of stuff for Fractal, so Its a good unit at what IT does best...very different than the Kemper in every way!.The Strymons are great.. some of the best pedals on market actually.. just the price tag I think is WAY too much for them.. but Ive had a lot of mileage from them, and some Great productions with them.. SHAME KEMPER cant clone the Full Final Sound with Modulation and verb!. that would be something else I tell thee!...

@ Xstrophy23: Where did you get those 9,5" rack mounts?

2 Liquid Foot Controllers - one on the main board with 2 mission engineering pedals, the other is used as a satellite controller.

what's that Unit at THE bottom of your Rack? -
I suppose that's just a patchbay, Magentix.
In general, it's just a piece of gear that you can plug all your stuff in without reaching the back. -
what's that Unit at THE bottom of your Rack? What does a satellite controller do ? how does it work ? sorry about the novice question.

I imagine it just gives you the flexibility to control the rig from another location (ie. a satelite spot) with just the same cable but longer... Where are these 'liquid foot controllers' available from and are they any good?

Hello, here's a pic of mine (sorry for the crookedness):
-
what's that Unit at THE bottom of your Rack?@magentix the unit at the bottom of my rack is a custom interface made for me by Best-Tronics - essentially the rear of my rack is completely closed off with vented panels - so I take my rack covers off and drop it into its stand. Then I just plug everything into the front. I have a Furman hardwired to the interface that actually takes up one space in the back. I can then power my rack and both CLR's if need be all from the interface. Then I plug an XLR into FOH, hook up my midi boards, run an XLR to my CLR's and I'm ready to play. Takes about 3 minutes to set up.

@Laurens You are correct sir!

@chopshop777 my satellite controller allows me to control my rig from a second spot on stage. We play some fairly large stages.

@jjborsa Sounds very convenient. i have been thinking about such a solution for a while. That's why i was so "euphoric"
what did you pay for it? -

They are great to work with - I included a link where you can basically design your own custom interface and email it to them - they will shoot you a quote depending exactly on what you need. I dealt with a guy named Brad - super helpful guy.

Laney 2x12 with a Gallien Krueger Poweramp mounted to the back of the cab small, cheap (teh galiien krueger power amp is analogue and from the 80, and back in the days it was pretty expensive) and sounds good and is a light weight

Aw man, they look uber cool! Cheers for the link... Can't tell from the photos but are you able to 'self-title' each individual switch and they have an LED display?

@nEVH5150 Yes - you can customize any button to do anything you want....a program change.....turn an IA on or off.....tap tempo......tuner....you name it. In fact you can even make one switch do multiple sequential commands on activation apparently but I don't go that deep - @Joptunes is an expert with LF in my opinion. Maybe he can chime in here.....
The individual button LCD's on the LF sync with the KPA and display the appropriate label - profile name if it is a program change switch......stomp box name if it is an IA switch. And it is SUPER easy to program - amazingly intuitive editor for Mac and PC. The tuner display works great. Can take a couple of expression pedals (I am using Mission Engineering). What is cool is there are multiple colors and brightnesses of LCD's available - all programable (did I say programming is simple?) So you can have an LCD for a boost be bright red when engaged and dim red when bypassed - just for example - could make them purple and blue if you like, doesn't matter.......it meshes very well with the Kemper. I'm a huge fan of LF.

Love the patchbay, Magentix! Nicely done!
