Assuming you have all the rigs set up, the ability to organise then load different performances from within Rig Manager would be extremely handy.
Ability to arrange/backup/export/import performances from with RM

yeah, +1!
btw: is there a way to transfer prefomances from one Kemper to another?

Yep when you make a backup there is a file stored in the backup of the performances so I've read I've never tried this it's only something I've read on here r.u.sirius
+1 for editing performances in rig manager.

Definitely. I hope that RM will become the complete tool for file managing and keeping. Arranging slots, renaming rigs, saving backups of performances, presets... is way much easier using a computer

Yes, they are in the backup in the folder 'performances' named numerically from 0 upwards.

thanks, I can see the folder!
but how do I get those kipf-files into my other Kemper? I tried the shared folder on the USB stick - did not work...A performance edit mode for the Rig Mmanager is highly appreciated!

You need to manually copy these to the performance folder of the other profiler's backup.
I know this is tedious but that's how it goes.
The other possibility is to clone the two profilers by restoring one's backup in the other. That's way easier. -
thanks a lot!
I rebuilt my perfarmances manually - that was the fastest way for me....
Problem with your first suggestion: I use WinRar, with which i can open the Kemper backups, delete and extract files, but cannot copy files into the archive....is there a software which allows me to do so?
Problem with your second suggestion: I need just about 15 profiles for the live Kemper, but have almost 1000 on my studio Kemper, so deleting 985 profiles, some of them tagged as favorites, some not will probably take me longer than rebuilding my performances.
I think this is a good real life example that shows where the performance mode needs to be updated! I vote for a software editor solution!!!

I'm using GUItar on Mac so I can't help you here.
I extract the archive to a normal folder structure, do my edits, then I re-archive.
WinRar can't do this? I know that with WinRar you can work within an archive, but I think it should be able to extract and re-archive as well. -
For managing archives, backups, archive files and the like on PC I use Total Commander, which has become my irrevocable Swiss Army tool for overall file managing.
If the Profiler showed as an external drive or under an FTP session you'd also be able to copy, move, paste, delete things from an extremely intuitive 2-window interface.Mhhh... Wonder whether it is possible to access RE through the FTP protocol...
