As it turns out, we had to disable this board to support Tapatalk. support might come back in the future but unless a secure version of the Tapatalk plug-in which works in conjunction with this bulletin board is released, there is no other way. if somebody familiar with the details has an idea on where to get an secure TT plug-in for version 3 boards, please let us know.

Damned.

I'm bummed I used taptalk all the time.
-
If not Taptalk....is there any way this board will work with Forum Runner?
-
It's very frustrating reading the forum on my iphone without Tapatalk
-
This really needs to be fixed for tapatalk or forum runner etc.....
-
I've been off the forum since Tapatalk support died. I wish it was fixed. Is there a mobile web version of the forum? The full website is tough to use on mobile devices.

No mobile version. We need one though..... it isn't that hard to do. -
I use the full version on my Galaxy S3 without too much trouble, but a proper mobile version would definitely be nicer.
-
This is killing me on my iphone I can't quote?? I miss Tapatalk
-
I'm on the sunny beach right now and it's a PITA to log in and read this forum on my iPhone without Tapatalk (or other mobile solution).
-
Wow that sucks! I was wondering what was going on when I tried to surf the forum from my iphone at lunch last week on tapatalk and it wouldn't work.
-
Bump - any movement on this?
-
unless there will be a burning board version 3 compatible tapatalk plug-in which doesn't expose the server due to a security hole, there will be no movement.

Can't Kemper make some pressure at WotLab?
I am sure you have asked them but is there a more efficient way that by using a Forum?
Anyway, they came out with this not long ago:
https://www.woltlab.com/forum/index.ph…action=firstNew
(Security Update for Burning Board 3.1 / Lite 2.1: fixes a potential cross-site scripting vulnerability in the WYSIWYG editor)If this is what you are seeking to fix.
Besides, for a corporation, Burning board is not free... You should have some ways to have them fix their security hole as part of a support contract if you know it exists.
I know that they will try to sell you version 4 with all the latest patches and all the bells and whistles but you can try to push your luck pretty hard if you are committed to not drop the ball. It works for most of my customers which are clients of the largest business software company in Germany, maybe still the largest in the World or close second... I am not sure anymore...
Regards,
Marc.

it is the tapatalk plug-in which open the hole. the board software is fine. tapatalk needs to address this by implementing their fix into an older version of their plug-in. as it turns out, tapatalk does not respond to inquiries and we have lost a lot of trust by now.

Please get some kind of mobile interface supported on this forum. I have all but quit participating because of this. I miss the Kemper community but not enough to sit at a computer. Tapatalk was excellent.
BTW....Burningboard or whatever is being used is HORRIBLE compared to any other online BBS/Forum software I've used since the dawn of the internet.

the internet.Agree.... the normal website layout is bad enough on a regular sized monitor or laptop.
Almost unusable on a mobile device.
