Is there a way to go directly to the first unread post in a thread instead of paging through and trying to figure out where you left off last time you logged in?

There's a setting somewhere to show only the threads with unread posts, but I never use it.
OTOH, such threads appear in bold character in each section's list, so they are quite easy to find. Also, in the sections' list in the root page a number appears at the side of each section's title showing how many unread threads there are in that section. Furthermore, such section title is in bold if the number is >0.All of this implies that you log in, and have cookies on.

There is a green arrow LEFT of the thread title (in bold) at the thread overview page. This brings you to the first unread post. -
