Ok. i've been through all the usual posts, yes, power amp is turned on, gone through the various output options but its still very quiet and distorted with either my Kone cab or my 2x12, it maybe something very silly but then the Kemper almost prides itself on being an awkward SOB to navigate

Anyone noticed that the tuner is screwed on the new beta update ? its a semitone sharp

Following this thread too, intrigued to see what people are using. I’m not a gigging guitarist anymore but I do get asked to p,at the odd charity gig and jam with mates, so I might be after an FRFR solution

I picked up a little sweetie off of Gumtree this weekend, i had the itch for another semi-acoustic

I was merely mentioning it inasmuch as we NEED an Editor, not half a job. Those of us blessed with less than perfect eyesight have a nightmare using the front panel, yes the Axe Fx 2 etc is as bad but at least there was a proper editor for the unit. I've had Axe Fx2 and 3 plus 2 x Helix Units, so I'm no newbie to whats needed and the Kemper does need an editor now to fully exploit
what is an excellent unit

Unless I’m doing something wrong, why should ToastME need both USB and a midi connection ?
-
ToastME is all well and good but why the need for a USB connection AND Midi ! So 2 USB ports are taken up which is a pita for us MAC users

Ok, my 10 pence worth, owned two Helix units, Axe FxII and III plus a FX8 and now I have the Kemper so I think i have had enough experience to express an opinion even if its only mine ;). The Helix units sounded great and had the best user interface overall but the sounds lacked the immediacy and feel of a good valve amp to my ears. The Fractal units had amazing effects but the amps always sounded synthetic to my ears and yes I messed with IR's global EQ you name it , The Kemper, well the user interface is as arcane as the Fractal and it could do with more effects in a chain so I'll no doubt be dropping a Line 6 HX in the loop but the Amps feel a lot more realistic and react to touch in a more realistic way and the manual is a mess

I always setup the action as low as possible at the nut, as I have a very light picking and fretting action I only get buzz if it’s actually touching the first fret, when fretting the 3rd fret it touches the 1st fret with no hassle. Obviously it depends a lot on the player and if you are a Shredder you’ll have a different setup to a Blues Guitarist etc
