I would be interested - very cool amp models, especially the Dumble type sounds...
Thanks!

Tried this yesterday
But just not found the right combination yet
Used a uad trident eq which improved it a lot
Curious what you come up with
Scuffham is what I use when the kemper is not at home -
Just posted one in the rig exchange. Picked a preset I liked (Liontone), turned off Scuffham effects and went with it. Added a bit of comp & reverb. Kemper gave me a warning about a noise gate so I had to do it twice.

Do you feel like your profile captured the true essence of the sound & touch?
-
I do think it captured the feel of Scuffham pretty well. What I can't capture however is the panned cabs with slight delay that makes Scuffham shine. I also noticed that because I use my Grado's for profiling, my profiles sound a little soft around the edges when heard through FRFR because the Grado's are so bright. Turn up the presence and treble a bit when using my profiles.

Looking forward to trying them!

i feel like ive tried every amp sim known to man, and i cant seem to come to grips with why the scuffham is so raved about. perhaps im missing something.

Have you tried using different IR's? Panning different cabs? I too have tried probably 90% of the available software modelers and nothing even comes close to Scuffham for me.
Guess it goes to show you how subjective tone is. The rhythm guitar player in my band LOVES Dimebag's sound, I think it is god-awful. -
I would add that, out of the Big 3, Scuffham sounds (to me) better then any other HW modeler (I've not play them all, but I think that I've missed nothing with the Behringer V-Amp... )

Yeah...keep moving, nothing to see here... -
Yeah...keep moving, nothing to see here...It was ironic, the V-amp is probably the only one that I did never played...
-
I think what the Scuffham models offer is a very organic, Dumble-esk tone which retains a lot of the original playing dynamics and midrange thickness.
-
As a side note, I have profiled some of the V-Amp's models, and with proper EQ, they sound as good as anything else in my Kemper...

I bet the profiles sounds a lot more dynamic, are you using Kemper Cabs with it?

Yes I am, and I can make them sound noticeably better than the original tones.
