My KPA is only 2 weeks old. The display is fluttering and turning into a giant black block hiding all info. Also, it is blinking red after shutdown. I have reloaded firmware. Did not help. I have a 5 second video showing this.

Contact support. Likely a hardware issue.

That's what I was afraid of. The thought of being without the KPA for weeks is excruciating. I have gigs lined up for weeks. This sucks.

At the risk of offending the Kemper team....
If I were you, I'd open the case and look at the ribbon cable (I'm just guessing that there is one), where it plugs onto the LCD display. Make sure it's seated well onto the display connection....it could have loosened during shipping.
This advice is totally worth what you paid for it but could solve your problem without returning your unit to Kemper.

I kinda think that the loose ribbon is what is happening, but wouldn't that void my warranty?

Here is a short video of it happening:

Unless the case is sealed with an anti-tamper device (tape, locktite, etc.) I wouldn't worry about that....I mean you need the display and you have gigs...right?
While you're in there, if you can, move the cable around while observing the front panel display. It's just possible that the connector-to-ribbon cable termination is a little flaky.

I definitely appreciate the advice but I will have to get the ok from Kemper before I open it. 2K is a lot of dough. I have my JCM800 as a backup, but that seems archaic now.

BTW, look at this video which details the KPA tear-down:
It should help with your decision regarding the degree-of-difficulty.

I have created a support ticket. Burkhard Dinnies from Kemper responded but only addressed the red blinking issue, avoiding the black box issue. I wrote back with a link to the video. Thanks for your help Dlaut. Have to go the official route first. This is an expensive little lunchbox.

Kemper got back to me and told me to send it to a service center. Googling "kemper amp service" was no help so I called Musician's Friend and they are exchanging it for me.
