This is the first time Ive considered buying some profiles it was a good move for you doing a metal pack. And44 could you plz tell me how many amp profiles you made WITHOUT scooping the mids? I'm kinda surprised you said the mids were scooped its the only thing making me think twice at this point. ill probably wait for clips to decide if i buy but i'm definitely interested in the potential of this pack
Alright let's hear those Fortin natas reviews
Well, despite all my concerns the price was a no-brainer and I bought it.
Also, couldn't wait JEFF make all the clips... =)
Need some pics, BTW
Good work Andy44. I'm sure they sound good and I'll buy them later today. I'm very impressed you and Jeff could deliver this fast!
PLZ also release these amps available in a singular way
I'm very much a metal player but have never really liked the sound of a JSX or Krank for instance ...
Of course I understand if you don't want to ... they are YOUR profiles after all ...
Anyway: I love the profiles I've bought from you and I'm sure I'll get more! Yesterday I was "stuck" on the Soldano OD+ profile you made for 3 hours ... so awesome!

I'm in the same boat. I like a solid midrange crunch in my metal tones, so I'm hesitant to buy the pack now. I don't want something akin to Nile's tone, which is basically bees in a tin can. LOL.
Bees in a tin can lol, not all of them are scooped. There are some mid range ones too tried to cover both sides. When i say mid rangy the mid dial was never past 12,o clock and scooped was about 9ish sometimes bit less or more than.
I think you guys are taking the term 'scooped' too literally. I can tell you that these profiles have plenty of midrange; it's not the hollow bees-in-a-tin-can tone you're thinking of. No 90's nu-metal stuff. The thing to remember with a lot of these amps is that they have a TON of midrange and tend to be super honky and stuffy if the midrange is dialed in too high. Ever played a 5150? That thing has a ton of midrange even with the knob fully counter clockwise; I actually don't even like 5150's with the mid knob above 4.
Jeff and And44, could you guys explain each profile or the naming scheme?
What is that "C1, C2", if was used a ts or od in front, etc?
C# = different cabs. I honestly don't know what the rest of the naming scheme implies, actually waiting for Andy on that one.

Nice.
The Krank profiles are outstanding.
One more question: Is this a dual channel recto?
Yeah C= Cab number, and the rest are just variations of. (normally the TS is no.2) - but I wanted to keep it basic, so you can just scroll through and choose a variation. - hence the simple naming.
Hope that helps
And yes its Duel Rec

Oops I meant Two Channel Dual rec
yeah it was 2 channel. - the 3 channel is a bit more harsh (so I hear) - dont quote me on this, im not a expert on this amp at all!. - but when I had the choice of what one to take, I took that..and was also advised to take it too
9 o'clock to 12 o'clock is fine for me. That seems fair. The debit card is on its way out.
Ahem..... So about those NATAS PROFILES!?!?!
What guitar + pickups were these profiles dialed in for?
I just went through all of these... IMHO all of the range of metal guitar tones are very well represented. There are a good deal of profiles for each set that are very warm in the mids and the others that I personally wouldnt use tend to remind of a Dimebag Darrell type sound or a SymphonyX - Odessey type sound, but even then those profiles can be easily tweaked to be less "searing" if I can use that word.
Another great pack from Andy for sure.
well thanks Robbue you just wrote a little review!thats what i been talking about, very helpful, thanks.
