use headphone jack as in ears monitor on gig....low volume output

Hello everyone,

I use a pair of in ear headphones connected to my Kemper for a solo restaurant gig. I am playing solo jazz guitar, so its pretty low key. Is there any way of boosting the headphone output. I went to output section and have it cranked(meaning all the way to 0.0) and it still seems low. Am I missing something?

Is the Headphone Volume linked to the other volumes? What are the ohms of your headset?

As BayouTexan said, what impedance are your headphones. Higher impedance headphones require a suitable amp to drive them. However, the Kemper headphone output is rated to handle up to 600ohm headphones. Unless you have something higher than that you should still be getting a good strong signal.

What kind of headphones are you using? Do they have their own volume control?
