Keeping effects on when selecting another slot on a performance.

    Hi, I have a question regarding keeping effects on when selecting another slot on a performance. When connected to Rig Manager, the changes to the stored performance are kept when i change slot, when not connected, if I change slots, it will always go to the stored configuration. I'm using Kemper Stage.

    Found this thread from a few years ago, where no solution was found. My hope is, after these years, some update has solved it. Anyone knows? Thanks.

    Keep effects on/off when switching performance slots, but not locking effects

    I recently noticed that when I was using the remote that, unlike other times, it was retaining the effects on/off status as I switched between slots. In other words, when I set effects ON that were NOT saved as default on for button 3, then switched to button 1, I could come back to button 3 and the non-default effects would come on as I had left them. This seems very handy to me as I play a variety of music and it is useful to setup a button with a specific set of options that may not be…

    if you want to keep effects active while changing between slots you need to lock the effects with the lock button or keep the Profiler connected to Rig Manager over USB. But in the latter case, you will notice that the time that it takes to change between slots is a lot longer than usual because the Profiler will first create a copy of the currently selected slot in the clipboard in order to preserve the modified state of the slot.
