So I have my routing like this:
Main out left --> Interface input
Monitor out --> Powered Kabinet
Sometimes I turn the cabinet/IR of the profile off and record the signal from a DI profile so I can swap IRs in the DAW after the fact. I had always left the kone setting turned on because I use an imprint with the powered kab to jam in the room.
However, I noticed today that if I hit the cab button to disable it and then toggle the kone button in the output setting it changes the tone coming from the main output. I assumed that the kone control would only impact the monitor output and leaving it on wouldn't impact the main out. If I have the cab button on then toggling the kone setting doesn't impact the main output at all. So I'm not sure what's occurring when the cab button is already off and I then turn kone on/off but its quite noticeable.
So what's happening here? Is it somehow toggling the cab when the kone is selected even if the cab button is off because its a direct profile?
