'nuff said. Would be great to have.
Anyone agree?

Yes, that would be great.
What's this?
Pitch crystal?
A high pitched delay + reverb known from eventide and axe-fx ultra.
So it's crystal pitch there is nothing particular to the reverb.
Okay. This is, what´s about:

That's what i mean, it's a shimmer effect. There is nothing special for the reverb. (Shimmer reverb?)
There are two ways to achieve it with the Axe-Fx (Standard, Ultra or II).
By using the "crystal pitch" which is a type of Pitch or by using a classical pitch with multidelay... and of course a reverb.
I'd vote the Daniel Lanois / Brian Eno / U2 effect which the Line6 Verbzilla "Octoverb" setting tries to recreate - but have this on my KPA.
Absolutely!

This was originally an algorithm of the Eventide H-3000 called "chrystal echoes". Pretty much multitap, pitch shifted delays. This was a great example for the modular Eventide concept. I remember lusting for that box but could never afford it - let alone for a guitar rack only. I ended up with a Boss SE-70 that I still have (of all my multi FX units this is the only one I kept). It does great things (step flanger and -phaser come to my mind) but it would never do that chrystal echo effect.
The Soundtoys Chrystalizer plugin is a great recreation of that effect, done by one of the original developers of the Eventide.
Of course I would like to have that effect in the Kemper too. And while you are on it, bring on that step-flanger and step-phaser from the SE-70 too
Strymon Blue Sky, Verbzilla, and the new (unreleased still I think) Hardwire PGS Reverb Unit are the main pedals that can do this.
I love the way it sounds on Verbzilla....that would be nice. Has to be octaves though....Mooer tried it with 5ths and it is teh phailz
Using an ISP33b

Using Ableton

It would be great to have the ableton tone into the KPA.

Yes indeed!
Resurrecting this old thread to share a rig with a shot at doing a shimmer type effect. There are others on this forum with far better ears and sound-crafting skills than I (are you reading this Bill?). Perhaps one of you can take this a step further?
Dan
We need a pitch shifter to make it happen.
The second we get one in the Kemper its the first thing Im doing!
Here is an OLD video on how its done:

I think the PodHD had some kind of shimmery reverb.
So yeah, a +1 from me!

Well, I love that sound, so I sure hope it's on the Kemper to-do list!
Valhalla does a great plugin called Shimmer of all things that does this. And it's dirtcheap.

Unless Vahalla can be loaded into the Kemper, point is moot. The effect is available in many forms at many price points, love to see it in the Kemper as well...
