Power Amp Discovery

    I played out this past weekend using a KSR PA50w tube power amp with 6L6 tubes. I used a Marshall Jubilee and ENGL Fireball profile, real 4x12 speaker cab. WOW...never sounded better. The built in solid state power amp in the Kemper will never see the light of day again.

    The built in power amp is not colored. Your power amp is in a way you preferred. The ICEpower amp isn't worse, just doesn't have color which is exactly why I wanted it. I wanted to hear profiles as they were intended as much as possible and add my own coloring if needed. None of this changes the main outs that the audience hears unless you are miking the cab.
