Yeah, my mistake. I've only ever heard the Eureka mentioned as being like the Uno, hadn't seen anything about two-way communication.

Over the last few months I've bought a bunch of FCB1010s and more than a dozen Uno4KPA chips.
Some of the FCBs I've bought have been very old units, abused for years by their previous owners, yet every one of them works flawlessly and are being gigged a few times a week by the new owners.
Love or hate Behringer, the FCB is one of the best products ever made, at a ridiculously cheap price. -
I just customized a foot controller for the Kemper.
It does midi, controls Stomps and Effects, has an expression pedal input, a courtesy 9V jack for other foot pedals, is small, and connects with a single cable.
Details are here:
Take me there now -
Just purchased 2 LF's. Amazing controllers. Extremely powerful. Not sure the Kemper could be better......just saying.

Can you change the preset Volume on the UnoKPA chip to make it "in the loop" vs front-of-amp? [FCB1010]
I use it for swells etc with the delay spillover. As is it chokes the delay spillover.

You need to choose the location of the volume pedal in rig menu, page 3/4.

...any rumours about KFC?

Small small and smaller!!

Small small and smaller!!
Bigger is always better.
Christoph, what's the word mang!?
-
big, bigger, biggest
-
For what it's worth, as a reference, I carry a Zoom G3X as a back-up in the front pouch of the KPA green case. Fits perfect and has a volume pedal and buttons and screens. For KPA, could fit two rows of buttons, etc, without screens.

Smaller with screen and one pedal for the Wah
-
Smaller, condensed would probably be more convenient. Although, I do also like the placement of the tuner and looper function in the larger one. Both are really good!

I won't wait for the Kemper footcontroller. Bought some cheap electronics in China, heated up my soldering iron and look what I've made:
A nice, small and cheap footcontroller! -

Just got my new FCB1010 and the uno4kemper chip. At this point, a great deal and a totally great solution. Works perfectly.

Fellow Kemperists!
Brace yourself, the KFC is comming!
I went to Musikmesse in Frankfurt yesterday and asked one of the guys at the Kemper booth and he told me that there will definitely be a KFC!
They are already in the last stages of the desing (deciding which font to use for the buttons ) and it will be published this year.
I was really getting tired of waiting and not getting any information and I was honestly thinking about buying a Behringer but not at least there is a sign and I can wait for some more months. -

I never doubted that they were working on it, but this is still pretty vague regarding availability. I'm back at the point where I'll be needing another foot controller (sold my 1010), and some real dates would be welcome! -
Actually I was beginning to doubt it... That's why I asked!
And I really tried to get the most information possible but they couldn't tell me anything else.
Some other things they told me:
- It will definitely not come with pedals. I know, they weren't in the original desings anyways but I kept on reading posts from people who had a demand for built in pedals.
- It will be possible to connect up to four pedals
- Communication/Power will come through one single cable (I think he said Ethernet)
- He showed me the size of the KFC with his hands so I suppose it well be the smaller design.I know all those things are nothing new but they used to be part of a design and now they have become facts!
