Well, consider me neutral, too... Only a small adjustment in my workflow is no problem.

Yeah, I get that line a lot!
(but usually with a hint of negativity/disappointment attached!)Thanks Doc. Updated!

Hi!
I'm used to change presets with the bottom switches. But as long as I can change the behaviour on my own it would be no problem.
And hey it's my first post here. So Hi everyone

Hi & welcome! From what CK said, this will not be possible (due to fixed labels and LED's).
I'm used to change presets with the bottom switches.
So, should I mark you down with a vote on that?

Well then yes, please!

I'd prefer the rigs on the bottom ..But I also prefer the tap there too..and 5 rigs not 4..So I guess I'm neutral

Hey Chris,
your statistics are incorrect: the item "FX on the low row" should sum up to 237 at the moment.Don't be wrong.

Jokes apart, thanks for your spirit mate.. I appreciate it a lot!
...And now, let's hope Eng. Kemper (or any other FWIW) doesn't get crazy trying to understand what's going on LOL

I've been thinking about this some more and want to switch my vote for rigs on the bottom row. Here's my logic - I can save one profile with different FX active as different rigs, even with multiple FX differences between rigs. That saves foot strokes on a change (e.g. adding boost, cutting off chorus, changing EQ). Making all those adjustments by FX switches would be rough, but having them saved as another rig would be one click.
-
Ask 1000 guitarists to design a pedal board and you'll get 1000 different designs.
Ok, in this spirit, here is my take....
I don't see why there has to be a "TAP" switch. Do most people use this?? Couldn't this functionality be accessed via an external switch...

My point as well
This helps thinking the KPA more like "a digital device" (in the workflow I mean) IMO, while making it easier to switch FX makes it more like "an amp".
That's why I voted the other way around

Tap switch is necessary. I am surprised you ask.

Stemast
I think you got the Quotes mixed up.
I didn't say the tap switch isn't needed, "ace" did. -
