Having trouble updating my Kemper

Hello all,

I am new to Kemper and I am having trouble updating my Kemper. I have followed all the instructions. Formatted my USB in the Kemper unit. I took the Kaos.bin file and put it in the OS Update folder. I plug it into the Kemper and nothing happens. Am I missing something?

Use Rig Manager. It's the preferred method for updating the profiler.

The simple explanation is: the revision of the operating system on the USB memory stick is already installed on your PROFILER. In that case no window will pop up suggesting an update.

Check, if you USB memory stick is recognized by the PROFILER. Does "External Storage" or "USB Stick" show up on the display under soft button 3, when the USB stick is plugged in? Perhaps it had not been unmounted safely and its file system is a corrupted.

Please also note that the update is not recognized if the USB stick is mounted during start-up of the KPA. You need to first start the KPA and then insert the USB stick.

THANKS ALL. Turns out my Kemper came fully updated. I know seems like a silly over sight but once I found the Kemper Information section I was able to tell where I was at. Thanks for the answers
