In the absence of a 'complete cab bypass', a workaround Ive been using is to load a 'direct' profile, save the cab (It should actually make no difference whether it is switched on or off) as 'direct' and use this as a blank cab profile. Works very well
Total Cab bypass

Well done! Actually quite logical, but you must first think about it!

Haha Great trick

Can you post a single Profile to use for this, it will help new owners who are trying the poweramp/cab method to quickly get up and testing...otherwise it will take them a week or two to figure this out and find the correct Profile.

Check out the evh5150nc profile (no cab). Thats one. Don't know how to split them up and save the cab only(outside the KPA that is), but if someone could do it for me I would appreciate it.

Can someone pass it on to Chris Hurley here...

Or should he rather work with the actual Profile evh5150nc (no cab) if he wants to try the poweramp/cab method?

Thanks Spence

Yes, great idea!
And in case we press 'lock' for the cab block - then all our rigs are ready for clean out guitar cab usage.
