Probably just an impedance thing. Some headphones don’t play nicely with some headphone amps. I wouldn’t blame it on the interface.
LOL Wrong thread, Brother AJ.

Display MoreHey ! I hope you are interested in a Laboga Alligator

And here is another Project i began ...
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/548qegb7rzw…0mRaLgjcva?dl=0
It is a Behringer V-Amp that thing is totally strange but mostly because of the rather bad cabs but i was impressed when i used it with a Bass
so .... yeah. While it it a cheap thingy don't hesitate to try it with Bass
Thank you for the Alligator, it sounds great with one specific Cabinet I love. Could you tell us which Alligator you used because it seems there is many version on their website. Just curious.
Hi! There lonestar it was a Laboga ad 5200 50 watts head, the mark 1 version i hope this helps
Thanks, man!

Ok cool, sounds awesome.
Ooooookay! here they are!

I made all switching options, with the eq at noon different gain settings, some with a similar scooped tone as in the beginning
AND i connected the pedal to my trusty 10 Band Parametric eq to eq it further.
Oh and i almost forgot these here are for bass and westernguitar players

these are profiles of my 10 band eq with different settings. try them!
Geez Thomas, did you already own the pedal when you posted the video or did you rush out and buy then Profile it in just 2 hours?
Thanks so much, man. I generally love pedal Profiles 'cause there's less margin for error (mic'ing choice and technique, bad preamp settings and so on), meaning that I feel safe from the dreaded phase issues I'm so-allergic to.
Curious, are you able to use the PEQ-450's 5 stereo bands as 10 mono?
that is FAT i think i should profile that pedal what do you think? i mean it is basically a preampExternal Content www.youtube.comContent embedded from external sources will not be displayed without your consent.Through the activation of external content, you agree that personal data may be transferred to third party platforms. Thanks for the profiles. I was thinking it's more like a power amp though than a preamp.
IMHO it's definitely like a preamp, AJ.
The power amp Ola used was definitely like a power amp 'though, 'cause it was one.
thanks for caring guys! I hope you find something you like
Monkey_Man The left and right channels are seperated inputs and the both 5band channels are stereo so by just using the left channel and using the channel link you can use both sides for a mono signal ... it is a bit complicated to explain for me but i hope you get what i mean ... and it works that is the most important thing ? and every Band has not only a Qcontrol but the q can also act as a shelf that makes this eq totally flexible
yeah i had the revv pedal here and right now i sell it. But then i saw olas video and was like ... hmm maybe i should profile it before selling it xD some guys immediatly like the post so i started directly the profiling
ooh and sorry to talk so much but the coolest thin with this eq is i can une it in the effectsloop AND after the cab and mic to control everything so i'm very happy with the results so far
Ha! Thanks mate; that explains it.
Hey, am I right in thinking the Alesis wouldn't be great to play through live 'cause it has a latency of between 20 and 30ms, being a digital device that's seemingly aimed more at post-processing than live use?
Yeha Alesis compressor would be a bit strange live ... i mean with digital mixers wireless and so on you already can reach 5-10ms or more live but adding 20 can be strange ... that is why i profile my settings the downside is you mess up the phase but i'm okay with that ... i haven't found anything about the Alesis EQ though if it is Digital or Analog
nightlight aaahh sorry you're right the video was about the poweramp but he used the Revv pedal at the beginning, i was a bit unclear about that.
So sorry about that, i meant the Revv pedal
... i haven't found anything about the Alesis EQ though if it is Digital or Analog
Oh, it's definitely digital if the many claims I've read are true. I've seen it said in a few places that the A/D and D/A are taken from the ADAT SR and are 24bit 48kHz. I've also read that latency is over 20ms, but I can't remember where I saw any of this stuff.
The weird thing is I can't find any mention of this in the manual, and I just read the whole thing! The spec page talks about frequency response, dynamic range and whatnot, but doesn't say anything about A/D & D/A, let alone even mention that it's a digital device. The only mention of the word "digital" in the entire manual is in the compliance sentence, "This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a class B digital device".
It actually avoids giving anything away about the unit's internals. "PEQ" suggests "Passive EQ" to me, and yet nothing is said about the filter networks that'd be necessary and something you'd think any company that's produced a good passive EQ would brag about. We get generic lessons in EQ terminology, principles of EQ'ing and usage suggestions - even instrument-specific ones, and all the while I was left wondering, "... so when are you going to tell us something about the components?".
Experience tells me that such things were omitted from sales blurbs and even the manual 'cause they wouldn't have helped the product's cause.
All this said, it wouldn't be a bad unit. Alesis has never made crap. Not high-end, but not crap.
Ahhh thanks! well my reasons to buy were just the many bands and features so far i'm happy with it maybe it's time to open that thing
