And yup; that IS the GOT ethos -- pleased you recognise it and put it into words
(ALL our packs have the same treatment...!) - currently all profiles have iterations in both states; un-boosted/BOOSTED so you have that immediate flexibility... All packs include DAP/PAP/Studio/MERGED - (you name it!) to provide a plethora of options. Different pickup options will of course follow as we continue meticulously with our tone journey...
That's great that you have pointed out that you "don't need to question if this fits your rig" - as our methodology and M.O. is to provide that facet to the range; so that value comes across combined with quality which you also mention -- so thanks again for doing so.
Hahaha, next update batch then get some fresh underwear in ready for that...!!! You'll need it probably - amp is simply IMMENSE. BEEF.
riff on.
Hope you got some fresh underwear at the ready ...!
Bought the Butterslax pack and very happy.
I had some questions aswell and the people at GOT replied back quickly and were very helpful.
Trust when you buy from these guys your getting top professional profiles with excellent customer service.
I had this pack for a while and it's really good. Question to @GAME-OF-TONES
Can you decipher this comment and profile name "PHOTO FOLDER T-1 (n denotes AMP EQ at noon) (+ OD808 SWT 1 SETTINGS)*" - here is the name "GoT bk * 1 BS:n MERG 30"
What does it mean?

"FRIEDMAN LOUD" should be a thing...
it's LOUD... Friedman loud!
Good morning @mdeeRocks

what does "1 BS:n" mean - amp at noon? So that means all profiles are taken with the amp set at noon? (as they all have "n" in the name) - then "MERG" - some profiles have this and some have "M4T12" - is "M4T12" od808 setting?
I am just curious, I usually go by ear anyway

Sure - I concurr; best always to go by your ear and absolutely - we cover (most) things, or aim to at least in the literature/copy we put up/out but curiosity is of course welcomed
Our Profile names flow like a signal path (so from Left to Right of the screen, just like the Kemper flows Input to Output so do our rig names, from the first aspect in the chain profiled -> to the last...)
Eg.
*(Anything in-front of the amp, like a boost) -> channel number -> amp -> how the amp is set -> cab -> mic / profile type
In the particular instance you are querying:
1 = channel number
BS = Butterslax
:n = the way the amp is dialed in, yes
ie. 'n' signifies neutral -> the key relays in the 'comments' field ... In this case, amp EQ is neutral (so bass, mid & treble all set to noon)
M412T = the MESA Straight 4x12 Trad cab
MERG = a Merged profile ; so that is nice & clear for users
*next to the channel number - again, would relate to the key in 'comment' field for something in-front of the amp (which is generally implying a boost, so far at least -> the Maxon OD808) and the way the boost is set is also signified by this asterisk and separated from other features/keys in the comments field by multiple enclosed parentheses if necessary !
Hope that helps and just shout with any other/further queries
Oh and updates to this pack coming next week!
Riff on!
