IMO - this is a great FRFR cab for the Kemper.

@grappagreen would you be kind enough for all of us here to make sort of a review of this cab?! Or at least your personal impression of using this cab. Thanks in advance, man!
-
Of course - I'll stick something up on YouTube when it arrives...

Sure it will be great to watch. Thanks.

I got one a couple weeks ago. I asked Mick and he built mine with a panel so that I can switch it from open back to closed back. It is an absolutely amazing FRFR cab. Very clear and feels great. Very full sounding.
It is my favorite FRFR that I've owned. I have previously owned the Friedman ASM-12, Yamaha DXR10, Atomic CLR (non-neo), and I currently also own the Atomic CLR MKII Neo. Also, the fan noise is the quietest of all the FRFR's I've owned.
-
geese_com: how does it compare to the CLR?

I would say that the Xitone feels fuller. It has that "amp in the room" feel that some people like. However, it is still also very clear and flat. I prefer the Xitone.

XiTone rocks!
Love my passive 1x12 Wedge.

That is the identical MBritt "convertible" he's building for me right now, too!!! Mine's due early next week! Glad to get some more feedback on one of these. I'm about to die to get my hands on it!!!!!!

I think he sent me pics of yours in the shop when I asked him if he could make a "convertible" Sent me an email with the pics that said
"... you mean something like this?......." hehehe -
OMG!!!!!!!!!!! I freaking LOVE this Xitone MBritt (Michael Britt) FRFR amp/cab!!!
Wow!!!!!!! Best thing I've ever plugged a modeler into since the tube amp power section with a guitar cab!!!
Feels/sounds like an "amp in the room", but does not muddy up or drastically color the presets!!!
Wow!!!!!!!!!!!! Was well worth the 10 week wait! Mick had some shop equipment problems while mine was being made
that slowed things up a little bit. -

Congrats on your new XiTone. Mick Farlow is a class act, and I am so glad I gave him my business. I love my XiTone 1x12 passive (I own a KPA power rack).
So happy to hear that he hit another home run with the special MBritt active cab. It is SO FRIGGIN' COOL that you can convert from an open back to a fully closed FRFR cabinet, with the removal of the back panel. Some great engineering, there. You can tell Mick puts a lot of thought and care into his cabs, and the quality level and workmanship are impeccable. Mine is built like an M1A2 Abrams tank, and can probably get as loud as the Abrams' Honewell hybrid-fuel gas turbine engine.
I would definitely be interested in the XiTone MBritt monitor, if it was available in a passive version...but I don't think that is in the cards.
In any event, enjoy, and congrats!
Cheers,
John -

Mine is on order and I can't wait to fire it up!!

You're gonna love it!

Where can I order it?
I am from Europe.. -
I would imagine Mick would ship to Europe. It just might cost a little bit more for the shipping/insurance/customs.
Make sure and email him to discuss things first. I HIGHLY recommend purchasing it in convertible open/closed back format.
The easily removeable rear panel version is AWESOME! -
Incidentally, I played a gig with mine last Saturday night!
I had compliments from the whole band and several guitarists/musicians in the audience.
It really felt/'sounded like I had a powerful guitar amp on stage behind me!!!I never even had to crank it up that much, either. I left the master volume on the Xitone MBritt
around half way and never needed to punch it overly hard for leads and parts that had to stand
out. -
