Hey guys, I'm fairly new to Kemper world. Still exploring before I start profiling my amps. But until then, spare me some time reading 10000000 of threads and recommend me couple of "the best" Mark IV packs. Something close to John Petrucci & James Hetfield sound.
The best Mesa Boogie Mark IV pack?

You could do a lot worse than this beauty...
Sinmix Mark IV....
-
Well.... to me cililabs mark IV is the best pack out there!!
-
and that one too!
-
+1 for cililab's mk4. Killer pack!
-
Stymphalian productions do a great sounding pack if you like metal.

Cililab's all the way if you want instanr Petrucci and Hetfield tones. Well, not exactly like their sound but get the picture.
-
Another +1 for cili. Also, I know this is the commercial section, but I'm surprised nobody mentioned the free djemass Mark IIC+ profiles yet. They work great for the sound that OP is going for, especially when used with some of the merged Tonehammer cabs.

I think I've bought most of them...While most are really good, I too gravitate towards the cillilab pack most of the times. At first they may sound a little too bright (depending on your setup), but If you back off a little highs and pressence, they are STELLAR!

Not a Mk IV, but the contributor "Thumas" has some kick ass Mesa Boogie Mk III profiles for FREE, on the Rig Exchange. Just search under "Thumas".
Cheers,

Yeah, saw the thread about it.

Indeed.Although I mentioned Thumas, above, I completely forgot to also mention @djemass, who has made freely available profiles of his MkIIC+, and specialized in John Petrucci tones.
Djemass' MKIIC+ profiles are available, here:
